           The Altmer are a race of mer who hail from the Summerset Isle.Out of all the races of Tamriel,they have the largest superiority complex.They are the most talented in the magical artsHowever,ironically enough they are also the most vulnerable to all types of magic(Fire,Shock and Frost).In the Imperial tounge they are called High Elves,probably due to the fact that they are the tallest of all the races in Tamriel.They are also one of the most culturally fascinating races in Tamriel.This has to be truye as the Imperials have adopted many Altmer ways and styles and used them as their own
